Cut with the Kitchen Knife – NETS Victoria

This A5 catalogue for NETS Victoria's touring exhibition 'Cut with the Kitchen Knife' featured the work of nine contemporary artists who work in the medium of collage. Resisting the temptation to go wild with our own collage interpretations, designer Lynley McDonald produced an elegant and memorable typographic treatment of the title which was letterpress printed in fluoro red on the cover. We then focussed on presenting the text and images of the artists work as a gallery space would, without too much interference by us. The typographic treatment from the cover was used also on supporting invitations and on the gallery wall.
